On March 26, 2013 at the Warsaw Hyatt Hotel the XXII Ordinary Meeting of Members of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications was held. It was opened by Paweł Czajkowski – Chairman of the PIIT Council. Unanimously elected as Chairman of the Meeting was Krzysztof Król – Vice President of PIIT (Asseco).

PIIT receives the status of Associate Partner in the European Project inGenious

The purpose of this Project is an improvement of the interest of youth in education and work in the province of ICT and exact sciences, and bringing-closer of the science and business. InGenious is a 3-year project (2011-14) run in the line of the 7th Framework Program. ...

Chamber acceded Agreement on Safety of Children in the Internet

"Agreement on Safety of Children in the Internet" initiated by the TP Group has already acquired its 11 first signatories, with Internet providers, Internet portals and self-government organizations, including Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications, among them, dealing with the issues of safety of children in the net. PIIT: Promotion "Polish Information Technology"

Ministry of Economy launched promotional Program for the Polish IT achievements, products and firms in the selected countries. The purpose of this Program is the facilitation for the Polish companies of their active participation in the trade missions and in the fairs and events of this sector. The most important element of the program will be participation of Poland in capacity of the Partner in the CeBIT Fair in March 2013, in Hanover.

PIIT will offer substantive support to the Program, and to participation of Poland in the CeBIT 2013 Fair.

We invite your familiarization with opinions of the firms which participate in the CeBIT 2012 Fair.

Seeing substantial potential of use by the IT sectors of the EU Structural Funds for 2007-2013 the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications starts jointly with Clarea the series of training events and consultations.
